As your local adult learning provider for north and south west Surrey, SAL offer a wide range of courses for adults. With hundreds of courses to choose from, you can learn in real time with a qualified tutor either online from home, or face-to-face at one of SAL’s seven adult learning centres.
Qualifications to achieve your goals
If you missed out at school, SAL’s English and maths GCSEs will help you progress your career or allow you to support your children with their education. SAL’s GCSEs are free if you are aged 19 or over, have lived in the UK for the last three years, and have not already achieved a grade C or above in the subject.
If English is not your first language, SAL also offer English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes at various levels to suit your need.
Having the right skills and qualifications is more important than ever in today’s competitive job market. SAL have a range of free ‘Refresh’ courses to increase your confidence and build the skills you need to get the job you want.

How to Enrol
You can enrol for most of SAL’s courses online at surreycc.gov.uk/adultlearning. There are so many courses on offer, you’re sure to find something of interest. Autumn term courses starting in September are available now and are filling up fast, so enrol quickly to avoid disappointment.
