Our first Addlestone Community litter pick took place recently with lots of families taking part. We were even joined by our local councillors also. As like our Chertsey litter pick we had a £25 gift voucher for the person/family that brought back the most litter.
Lots of our volunteers were seen in the town centre and all agreed that the town is starting to look alot better because of the joint action of volunteers and council staff. We also took on a litter pick at St Pauls and Jubilee High School car parks. We were overwhelmed by the support and picked up over 15 bags of rubbish. It was great to see the children taking an interest in the environment and then asking their parents to litter pick where they live.
