Having enjoyed such an amazing summer, where we were at last able to really experience the great outdoors – barbecues, camping, exploring the UK instead of hopping on flights in search of the sun—October has arrived in all its glory!
This is a wonderful month—deeply autumnal. As the leaves change, so do we here at Community Life Magazines. Founder Mary Hammond is moving on to a new venture—exhibitions—starting with Christmas in Surrey at Sandown. She will still be consulting on the magazine for a few issues… but I am delighted to say that she is handing over the CL Magazines reins to me – and I will be in the driving seat from the November issue onwards.
I am so excited to be able to take over the magazines, which have always been an absolute passion of mine. I look forward to working with the community, chatting with readers, and meeting with advertisers to continue Mary’s legacy and I will continue to make this the trusted, go-to publication across our Surrey areas that you’ve come to know and love.
