BY ANDREW BUNTING
Thinking out loud and to those that need this well here is, another of my midnight thoughts.
I haven’t done this in quite a while but ENJOY……. My name is Andrew Bunting.
I’m a, single dad with both my boys that I’m so immensely proud of and I hope I am the right roll model to both of them by the way I see the world and its inhabitants.
What makes me, or motivates me, to take photos the way I do?
Answer: The world, people and society do.
Taking a photo, just one, can bring no debate but only one thing and that is one’s individual way of perceiving what they see in front of them. It may be how they feel or what they are going through that might bring them comfort on simple thugs we walk by every day of our lives.
This is the one thing I found that noone agrues or hates one another for, and we are all in agreement. Why? The reason is a photo of something that is familiar to us brings out our personal thoughts and feelings that don’t need to be shared. In that one moment you dissappear for a second or two and for that one moment unknowing to us you are transformed to a peaceful state of mind or memory.
What do I see? How do I see it?
I’m asked so many times. Well I got this from a movie quote I watched many years ago and it just stuck with me. Its meaning describes how I see the world around me.
‘Take a deep breath, step back and look at the complete painting.’
Let me explain…..
When you see a cow by itself, it’s just a cow.
Looking at a meadow by itself well that’s just grass and flowers.
Looking at the sun rays peeking through the trees, well that’s just a beam of light. But put them all together and that is when you see something magical present itself. Stay safe and God bless everyone.
