Community Life

RUNNYMEDE LIFE – NORTH EDITION | MARCH 2022

It’s here! We made it to Spring. I have to admit, it is my favourite time of year. As you can probably tell, I do enjoy colour and Spring brings out a lot of it in many varieties. Colour plays a vitally important role in the world in which we live. Colour can sway thinking, change actions, and cause reactions. Colour is also important because it helps us to have better memories and process images more efficiently.

It is so nice to be able to celebrate again and this year is jam packed with events to have fun with others and create memories.

We very sadly lost a true community leader in February. I worked with Mike Freshney on a number of articles. He was very involved in the saving of Cross Lane in Ottershaw from development along with being a key negotiator on behalf of the Ottershaw Residents Association in the discussion of the A320 Roundabout in Ottershaw. He was a member of Foxhills Resort and committed to community efforts. Along with many others in the borough, I will sadly miss him. He was a supporter of the magazines and community life in general.

How will you be celebrating Mother’s Day or showing your mum how much you care? We have some ideas for you to take advantage of in this issue.

Yours faithfully
