Hello Autumn and thank goodness you’ve arrived. Phew that was a hot few months!
I think it will take some time for our gardens to recover.
Our gardening editor, Liz Smith has done a piece on drought-friendly plants that you may want to consider for the future. This does include some favourites like geraniums, rosemary and lavender. It sounds like keeping a herb garden is in the future.
You will see our double page for Christmas in Surrey. I am putting this together and I very much hope you come and join us for a unique shopping experience along with creative workshops, an indoor Santa’s Grotto and lots of festive cheer. It has been a hard year for many and we hope to create a lovely atmosphere and get you ready for a Christmas filled with lots of smiles and good times with family and friends.
If you haven’t been to Sandown Park, you are in for a treat. There is lots of space to sit and enjoy the festive atmosphere. There is a cafe and lots of convenient parking. We have over 130 artisans and makers for you to browse and purchase from all under one roof. We have local choirs also decking the halls with the sound of Christmas so come join us!
Thank you for the wedding wishes. It all went well.
If you have any community stories please do get in touch. If you are looking to advertise your business also, we do want to help.
Best Wishes,
