Community Life

RUNNYMEDE LIFE – SOUTH EDITION | JUNE 2021

Welcome to the June issue!  Hard to believe it’s June already.  At least this year we have plenty to look forward too.  Lockdown measures have continued to ease and we can enjoy more of our local restaurants and cafes with the pleasure of the indoor dining experience.

More good news is that our events in planning are looking to happen (fingers crossed)!  The Black Cherry Fair organisers in Chertsey are busy putting the event together and everything is moving forward with the Chertsey Agricultural Show and the Royal Egham Show.  If you haven’t been before, the Magna Carta Day is also happening in Egham on 26 June.  Another must attend event.

The Chertsey & Egham Museums are open again and there will be more on offer for you to do and get back to community living.

Please do make sure you are thinking about your Health and Wellness. Add a daily walk to your schedule during the summer months.  We are so lucky to have so much green space around with a National Trust location within reach.

Please do remember to be vigilant and wear a mask when appropriate.

Yours faithfully,
