Hello Summer! We’ve been waiting patiently for you for the last 9 months. Great to see our community events happening again and the Oatlands Fair was a fantastic day with great weather to match.
Apologies for the delay in the May issue arriving to residents in Weybridge. Even after a year of working with Royal Mail, I’m still getting used to their way of working and didn’t realise until the 9th hour of the 9th inning that there was an error in the booking. I am very much a supporter of our mail system and long may it continue. Better late than never and I hope it was well received nevertheless.
It is so nice to be celebrating another Jubilee. I hope you like the cover photo. I was in the boat closest to the Glorianna with the red top on the left. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. It was the first time I could truly to comprehend what it looks like for Queen Elizabeth when she is in a procession and all the British flags flying. It was so inspiring even then the rain poured down most of the day. I definitely felt like a princess for a day.
I am starting to bring more of the events taking place in Runnymede into the publication for you to take advantage of. Jazz, comedy, historical talks and much much more.
If you have a community story that you would like to highlight in our monthly publications, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Yours faithfully
