As we turn the page on another year and step into a brand-new one, I’d like to take a moment to wish all our readers a very happy New Year. I hope 2026 brings you health, happiness and plenty of moments worth celebrating with those closest to you.
At just 19 years old, it’s been an incredibly exciting journey for me to be part of this magazine. Every issue teaches me something new, and I’m constantly learning, growing and falling more in love with the role. Working on Community Life has shown me just how special our local area is, and how much heart there is within our towns and villages.
One of the highlights recently was the Christmas Market in Weybridge, which was a huge success. The atmosphere was festive, welcoming and full of community spirit. From the wonderful stalls and local businesses to the families, friends and neighbours who came along to support it, the day truly captured what this season, and our community, is all about. We absolutely loved seeing everyone come together, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make the event such a memorable one.
As we head into the New Year, I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead – more stories, more events, and more chances to connect with the incredible people who make this area so special.
