It’s been busy at Community Life bringing you the latest news and events across the Borough.
I was honoured to be asked to be the guest of honour at the Graduation Ceremony of the Uniform Public Service students at Brooklands Technical College. These graduates are our future policemen and women, army recruits, 999 call receivers, fire fighters, Navy sailors amongst other public service positions. They are our future protectors, order administers there to lead a hand for those in need. I was very moved by the opportunity and appreciate the choice of career they are taking.
Apologies for the smaller magazine this month. Personally, I have also been busy with wedding preparations. As of writing this editorial, I will walk down the aisle at D’Oyly Carte Island in 5 days time. No doubt I will be sharing several images in the September editions.
