It was fun putting this magazine together as there is so much happening in Runnymede this summer.
We have the Magna Carta Day, Lyne Village Fete, Englefield Green Village Fair, The Ottershaw Fete all happening in June. Please take advantage of these events. There is a lot of hard work that has gone into them and its great to celebrate local.
I have also been busy planning our wedding. Colin and are finally tying the knot after 11 years of being together. We are very fortunate to be having our event on D’Oyly Carte Island. If you haven’t yet been, I suggest going for a coffee at D’Oyly’s. It is certainly a magical place in Weybridge.
If you haven’t explored the UK’s many vineyards, English Wine week is 20-28 June and several will be putting events on. The industry and really grown and great to celebrate Britain’s achievements.
