RUNNYMEDE LIFE – NORTH EDITION | OCTOBER 2021

We actually did have some summer in September and hope it continues into October. What a difference a little sunshine and Vitamin D can make for our health and well being.

October is definitely looking to be a busy month with lots of events including the Centenary of the Chertsey War Memorial with an unveiling by the Chertsey Museum schedules for 30th October. Please see the Chertsey Museum website for more details www.chertseymuseum.org

I took the opportunity to buy a ticket to the Thorpe Players ‘An Evening of British Comedy’ and what a fun night it was. After nearly 2 years of not being able to put a show on, the cast were fantastic and very funny. I also enjoyed meeting a few other ladies at my table who were also glad to see theatrical events starting up again, and local ones making it even better. One lady said, ‘I’m so looking forward to having a laugh again!’

We have a full calendar of different types of opportunities for you to take advantage of for a nice evening. It’s a great way to meet new people and feeling a part of the local community.

It’s also good to see the bigger events including Thorpe Park Fright Nights, Windsor Illuminated and other Autumn/Winter attractions open for booking. It is already feeling a bit like Christmas and let’s hope this one is filled with lots of Christmas Cheer with friends and family.

Yours faithfully,
